Eragon

There was a rumor that the film version of Eragon was going to be called Generic Fantasy Movie, but they thought it gave too much away.

But I kid.

I think its great that they were able to take all the unused footage from Dragonheart and Lord of the Rings, splice in Jeremy Irons’ performance from Kingdom of Heaven and make a movie out of it. But since Chris Paolini wrote the book with Tolkien and Le Guin’s leftovers and added a dash of Star Wars, they can get away with it.
